Grown and planted on-site
Our signature hanging baskets are planted right here in the greenhouse — the same baskets that line downtown Saint Stephen every summer.
A family tradition since 1980
Mayfield Gardens was founded by Peter and Norah Heelis out of a genuine love for plants, people, and this community. Over four decades later, the greenhouses they built remain one of New Brunswick's most cherished garden destinations.
Today, Andrea and Dwayne McCaffrey carry that same spirit forward. Customers travel from across the province to walk the greenhouses, find the perfect plant, and take in a place where everything is grown with care.
From the hanging baskets that line downtown Saint Stephen every season to the plants we grow in our greenhouses — we're proud to be woven into the fabric of this community.

Our floral department
Our in-house floral department — Lilies & Ladybugs — crafts every bouquet and arrangement to order using the freshest seasonal blooms, many grown right here on the farm.
Order online and we will confirm the details with you personally — then pick it up at the greenhouse or have it delivered locally.

Fresh, hand-tied bouquets made to order — from market-style bunches to something grand.

Designed in glass or ceramic, ready to set on the table and enjoy.

Tell us your vision and budget — our designers will create something one of a kind.

Casket sprays, standing pieces, and gentle arrangements — handled with care and respect.

Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and the just-because moments.
